I had to do it...I had to combine these two great images from the new G.I. Joe "The Rise of Cobra" Movie that is due to hit theaters on August 7th.

My good friend :iconchadfuller: had these is his journal [link] titled "2 New G.I. Joe The Rise of Cobra movie posters!" I hope everyone likes it and it doesn't do to bad for a 1280x800 desktop ;)

Side Note This is my first desktop wallpaper I have ever created using Adobe Photoshop ;)

I agree with that ;)

Yes, I saw the movie...I thought it was pretty good, somethings were changed from the comic and some of the military things didn't match up like Dukes rank and the rank on his Army dress blues was not the rank they kept calling him by in the movie, however I really like Snake-Eyes costume in the movie alot...but that is Hollywood for you they have to appeal to the general population and not us hardcore fans...so overall I enjoyed it as a movie ;)

Well, I've actually written a review (it's in my signature if you're interested) and I thought that it was too much of a cartoon for the general public. So I thought, "Okay. If they're basing it off the cartoon so much, leaving everyone else in the dust, they should stay loyal to it." But, they grouped 2 relationships that don't work and deviate completely from the original source! (Not to mention they screwed up Cobra Commander!)

But I thought everything else was... okay. Like I loved the part with Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow and Breaker had some good scenes, but other than that, it was okay.

Now let us pray that the movie is at least 3/4 as awesome as this. 2009 Hasn't been good for my childhood so far.

I am looking forward to seeing this movie...G.I. Joe was the one cartoon I watched in the morning before going to catch the bus to High School...I hope they do it some justice :?
